  4. you can see the difference in the way they are made. Look how the Flared bars are welded at the top, the design would make them much stronger and the welds are perfect. I'd say this is what you're paying for. Any one can use chromoly, which is the stuff they're made of but not everyone has put the effort in like flared or been so fussy with their work. i would buy these over cheap stuff like muts etc. my dad says you get what you pay for. I hear they're coming back soon with their own web site. can't wait to see what they have next.

  8. I just came across this blog. I'm not promoting anyones gear but get annoyed when i hear comments from people who don't know what they're talking about. I had to laugh about the "they are both made of the same stuff" comment. Sure they are, just like holdens and rolls royces are made of the same stuff or something you guys will relate to, lets say haro bikes or we the people are made of the same stuff as a kmart malvern star but I'm sure you all know the diff between them. Some one like Flared who went through the steps, design, prototype, testing, re-design etc until they got it right, then they hit the shops quicker than any other scooter mod because the shop owners could see the quality, started using riders like Luke picket to test and promote their stuff cant be compared to ebay rubbish. Like some one else said anyone can buy chromoly or say they use it but that doen't mean they have a clue or the know how to come up with a quality product. Bright colours don't make it good. Lets see one with out the powder coat like Flared did. They want every one to see the work that went into their stuff so advertise everything raw to show off the welds etc. Nothing to hide and it shows. So if you're going to compare then compare rubbish with rubbish like muts and seasoned, or quality like flared and proto. Do your home work before being ripped off.
